The Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire recognized Rosewood Homes with the Fall Parade of Homes Award of Excellence for Single Family Homes in both 2006 and 2009, and selected Rosewood as the Featured Parade Home in 2014. Rosewood Homes has been a proud participant in the Parade of Homes for many years, showcasing custom-built homes to the Sioux Empire community each spring and fall.

Sioux Empire Home Show — Exhibitor
Rosewood Homes & Real Estate is a regular exhibitor at the annual Sioux Empire Home Show, the Sioux Falls area’s largest and longest-running home tradeshow, hosted by the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire. This event connects homeowners with local builders, remodelers, and industry experts.

Community Impact — Building Miracles for Kids
In 2013, Larry and Rachael Weissenburger founded Building Miracles for Kids, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making a tangible difference for children and families in the Sioux Falls area.
The concept was simple but powerful: unite the local building community — contractors, suppliers, tradespeople, and volunteers — to build a home from the ground up, then donate the proceeds to children’s charities.
$194,000 to Sanford Children’s Miracle Network (2014)
The first Miracle Home was completed in late 2013 and sold in early 2014. In March 2014, a check for $194,000 was presented to Sanford Health’s Children’s Miracle Network — one of the largest single donations to the organization from a local homebuilder-led initiative.
$14,000+ to Children’s Home Society of South Dakota (2017)
The second Building Miracles project at 5505 S. Breezeway Ave. raised over $14,000 for Children’s Home Society of South Dakota, as featured in SiouxFalls.Business.

Festival of Trees — Christmas Tree Donation & Auction
Rosewood Homes & Real Estate decorated and donated a Christmas tree to the Festival of Trees gala benefiting Avera Health in Sioux Falls. The beautifully decorated tree was auctioned off at the event, with proceeds supporting Avera’s charitable care and community health programs. The Rosewood team came together to create a tree that reflected the craftsmanship and heart behind everything they do.
Home Builders Association Mall Golf — Custom Hole Design & Fundraiser
For two years in a row, Larry and Rachael Weissenburger designed and built a custom mini golf hole for the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire‘s Mall Golf fundraiser. Their signature creation was a handcrafted windmill hole — built from scratch by Larry and Rachael — showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship that defines Rosewood Homes. Proceeds from the event benefited the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire.

About Larry & Rachael Weissenburger
Rachael Weissenburger — President, Broker Associate, Licensed Contractor, and licensed REALTOR® with the REALTOR® Association of the Sioux Empire (RASE). Rachael is the driving force behind every aspect of Rosewood — managing day-to-day operations, client relationships from first conversation to closing day, marketing, bookkeeping, and bringing a designer’s eye to every project. Rachael has been active in the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, SME of Sioux Falls, and the Young Professionals Network, and remains involved with community organizations including The Banquet and Central Church — where she led a Wednesday Youth Group for girls for three years and served on the Property Board. She continues to support these causes and stays engaged as time allows.
Larry Weissenburger — Project Manager, Owner, and the hands-on builder behind every Rosewood home. With decades of construction experience, Larry oversees every phase of the build process. Larry has been an active member of the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire, served alongside Rachael on the Home Builders Association (HBA) Parade of Homes Committee, and together with Rachael, proudly sponsored local youth sports programs through Rosewood Homes — including the Sioux Empire Baseball Association (SEBA), Big Sioux Basketball, and South Dakota Junior Football. Larry also led a men’s bible study and greeted at the doors at Central Church, and was an active participant in the Sioux Falls Referral Network, building strong referral partnerships across the Sioux Falls business community.
