Home Addition Transformation — Harrisburg, Near Sioux Falls
This project began as a very old story-and-a-half home that no longer fit the needs of the family living in it. We had the opportunity to walk alongside our clients, Jeff and Traci Boyle, from the very beginning—helping them find a home with acreage and the vision to see what it could become.
Together, we reimagined the space and designed an addition that completely transformed the home. The project included a new attached garage, an upper-level living area, and a redesigned main floor with a true foyer and functional laundry space. What started as a small, outdated home became a comfortable, thoughtfully designed home built to support their growing family.

Whole Home Renovation — Tuthill Highlands | Sioux Falls
This home, nestled in the historic Tuthill Highlands area of Sioux Falls, had an incredible location but was nearly 30–40 years behind in design and function. Jarod and Robyn Wallace saw the potential and trusted us to help bring their vision to life through a complete home transformation.
What began as a home with several challenges—including water in the basement, outdated bathrooms and flooring, and an inefficient layout—became a full-scale whole home renovation from top to bottom. The project included a major kitchen remodel, three fully renovated bathrooms, and a completely rebuilt lower level. We also removed outdated interior walls, relocated the staircase that once dominated the center of the home, and redesigned the layout to improve the flow and functionality of the main living spaces.
Structural improvements were just as important as the design. We installed drain tile around the home to resolve the basement water issues and rebuilt the lower level to create new, comfortable living space. A new laundry area was relocated near the three main-floor bedrooms, creating a more practical and seamless daily routine for the family.
What was once an outdated home with layout limitations is now a timeless, functional forever home. This renovation is a great example of how thoughtful design, construction experience, and vision can transform a well-located property into something truly special.
Home Remodel — Canterbury Heights | Sioux Falls
What drew us to this project was the story behind the home. Bill and Juli Moran had lived here since 2005, planting their roots and raising their family in a place they truly loved. Now as empty nesters, it was time to update the home they planned to enjoy for years to come.
The house itself had great bones but was ready for a refresh. We helped modernize the space with a complete kitchen remodel featuring new countertops, and replacing outdated elements with clean lines and more efficient use of space. The master bathroom remodel included a soaking tub and a seamless tiled shower floor designed with zero ledge for easier cleaning and accessibility.
Outside, the deck had served its purpose for many years, but the west-facing exposure had taken its toll. Reworking the outdoor space allowed the home to better complement its incredible setting in Canterbury Heights, where the views are truly irreplaceable.
This project will always be memorable to us—not only for the transformation of the home, but for the friendship that grew along the way. Through time spent together in Bible study and the trust Bill and Juli placed in us, this remodel holds a special place in our hearts. We are grateful they believed in Larry and Rachael Weissenburger and trusted us with their home.
Whole Home Renovation — Harrisburg Area Acreage, Near Sioux Falls
Country living with the convenience of being just minutes from Sioux Falls and easy interstate access made this property truly special. Land in this location is hard to come by, and Kent and Hilary Becker loved the acreage and the life they had built there. The home, however, had served its purpose and was ready for a complete transformation.
This was a home filled with life—a large family, homeschooling, and a backyard that welcomed neighborhood kids and learning experiences for many years. While the family lived in the lower level during construction, we worked together to redesign the entire home from top to bottom, removing the outdated structure and rebuilding it with a new vision for the future.
The renovation included opening the kitchen into a more functional, open-concept layout and adding a large dining room designed to gather 15+ people comfortably. A remarkable vaulted ceiling now defines the dining space, creating a warm and welcoming centerpiece for family and guests. We also added a covered deck for morning sunrises and a front porch designed to enjoy summer evenings.
The exterior of the home was completely reworked, replacing the old finishes with a timeless farmhouse renovation style. A new chimney was designed to carry the look of the grand interior fireplace to the outside, tying the entire home together.
Inside, the transformation continued with a full master suite renovation featuring a seamless custom shower, a redesigned staircase, and a great room with wall-to-wall shelving built for a home full of readers and lifelong learners. As the family grew, the upper level also expanded with additional bathrooms and Jack-and-Jill bedroom suites to support the needs of a busy household.
This renovation will always stand out as one of our most memorable projects. From long summer days working through the transformation to the many conversations shared with Kent and Hilary while our kids played together on the property, the experience and relationships built during this project will stay with us forever.
